The First Show of 2024

The Dodge County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is pleased to announce its first public exhibition for the 2024 season, featuring a mesmerizing display spotlighting a new wave of computer-generated artistic innovation. The exhibition will be held at the DCCA, located at 130 W. Maple Ave., Beaver Dam, WI, from January 6 to February 4, 2024.

 

Simply titled “Digital Art”, this captivating exhibition will showcase the exceptional work of two groundbreaking artists, Cosplay Costume designer Damian Bertelsen and Visionary illustrator Tyler Marx. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience a diverse array of 2- and 3-dimensional artworks, highlighting the creative process of utilizing computers to craft fantasy costumes and produce computer-generated wall art.

 

Damian Bertelsen, renowned for his expertise in Cosplay Costume design, brings an unparalleled perspective to the exhibition, offering an inside look at the fusion of technology and artistry in the creation of imaginative costumes.

 

Tyler Marx, a visionary illustrator, captivates audiences with his stunning computer-generated wall art, showcasing intricate details and vibrant storytelling through his digital compositions.

 

The exhibition promises an engaging and educational experience for attendees, illustrating the innovative ways in which technology is shaping the art world. The public is cordially invited to the opening celebration on Saturday, January 6, from 1 to 3 PM, where guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and gain insights into their creative processes.
